“The photo was inspired by Ella Fitzgerald’s rendition of the song “Stormy Weather,” a phrase that suggested to me a stormtrooper preparing for a downpour. I tried to set a rainy day mood, shining an Ott-Lite through a laundry basket to create light and shadows on the dark grey wall. The prop umbrella toothpick was provided by my wife, who thankfully supports my Flickr habit.”
