Today’s Bacon | Charlie Wild

by Joe

This photo was taken two years ago at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid. Spain defeated Denmark 2-1. Recently I started experimenting with this technique, trying to simulate tilt-shift photographies in Photoshop. The result is that model-like look where everything seems tiny to the eye. It’s actually very simple to accomplish if doing right, using adjustment layers and the lens blur filter, applied to the top and bottom of the image.
Charlie is a photographer from Madrid, Spain who has shown here how to take a regular photo and make it look like a miniature model. That is correct. The photo above is in real life. I’ll be demonstrating how to replicate this technique on Thursday.
