The team here has been working hard the past few weeks to bring you a better iLovePhotos. We’re so grateful for all of the feedback that you’ve provided via our forum, the support tickets and crash reports you’ve submitted, and feedback we’ve received at feedback@ilovephotos.com. We’re dedicated to improving your photo experience, and nothing helps us do that more than hearing from you.
The greatest improvement you’ll discover in our latest release is increased stability during sharing. We spent quite a bit of time analyzing the various problems users like you have discovered with sharing, and we’re sure that these improvements will give you a much better experience sharing photos with your friends and family.
Here is a quick run-down of the new features and improvements in this release:
- Numerous performance improvements including faster iPhoto syncing and auto-saving
- The type-to-tag tagging user interface has been redesigned — start typing a person’s name while a face is selected, and hit enter to tag them
- A progress bar when exporting a slideshow movie has been added, so you know what iLovePhotos is doing and when it’s finished
- A guided walk-through of core features for first-time users
What you can look forward to in the near future:
- Face recognition! We’re working around the clock to bring you facial recognition to truly make tagging your friends and family a snap
- You’ll soon have the ability to export and share your photos on 3rd party services such as Facebook and Flickr
